CLAIM NO. F107847

VINCENT BRADLEY, EMPLOYEE, CLAIMANT v. SINGLE SOURCE TRANSPORTATION, EMPLOYER, RESPONDENT, FIDELITY GUARANTY INSURANCE COMPANY, INSURANCE CARRIER, RESPONDENT

Before the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission
ORDER FILED OCTOBER 6, 2003

Upon review before the FULL COMMISSION in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Claimant appeared PRO SE.

Respondents represented by HONORABLE WILLIAM C. FRYE, Attorney at Law, Little Rock, Arkansas.

ORDER
This case comes on for review before the Commission on claimant’s motion for an extension of time to file an appeal to the Arkansas Court of Appeals.

After our consideration of claimant’s motion, respondents’ objection thereto, and all other matters properly before the Commission, we find that claimant’s motion must be denied.

The Full Commission filed an Opinion and Order in this case on August 18, 2003. On September 11, 2003, claimant filed the present motion to extend the time within which to file a Notice of Appeal to the Arkansas Court of Appeals. However, the Commission does not have the authority or power to extend the appeal time provided in Ark. Code Ann. § 11-9-711(b) (Repl. 2002). Cooper Industrial Products. v. Meadows, 5 Ark. App. 205, 634 S.W.2d 400 (1982).

Accordingly, we find that claimant’s motion must be, and hereby is, denied.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
