CLAIM NO. F907467
Before the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission
ORDER FILED JUNE 27, 2011
Upon review before the FULL COMMISSION in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Claimant represented by the HONORABLE LAURA BETH YORK, Attorney at Law, Little Rock, Arkansas.
Respondent represented by the HONORABLE MELISSA WOOD, Attorney at Law, Little Rock, Arkansas.
ORDER
The respondent in the above-styled matter moves the Full Commission to allow filing of a belated brief. We deny the motion.
An administrative law judge filed an opinion on April 22, 2011 and found, among other things, that the claimant proved he was entitled to additional medical treatment. The respondents filed a notice of appeal to the Full Commission. The Clerk of the Commission corresponded with the parties on May 16, 2011 and stated in part, “Respondents’ brief will be due June 3, 2011. . . . Any extension request must be submitted in writing prior to the due date.”

The respondents did not file a brief until June 8, 2011. The respondents state in their motion that the brief was filed late due to administrative error. Nevertheless, because the respondents’ motion was not timely filed, we find that it must be denied. See Franklin v. Cross County Judge, Workers’ Compensation Commission F810601 (July 31, 2009).
The Full Commission therefore denies the respondents’ motion to allow filing of a belated brief. We note that the claimant has not filed a brief. We direct the Clerk of the Commission to place this matter on our submission docket. The Full Commission assures both parties that we will adjudicate this claim based on a de novo
review of the entire record in accordance with the relevant provisions of Act 796 of 1993.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
