CLAIM NO. F505002
Before the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission
ORDER FILED JULY 10, 2006
Upon review before the FULL COMMISSION, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Claimant represented by Honorable James Stanley, Attorney at Law, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Respondent represented by Honorable Richard S. Smith, Attorney at Law, Little Rock, Arkansas.
ORDER
Presently before the Commission is Claimant’s Suggestions in Support of Additional Authority which is hereby considered as a Motion to File a Supplemental Brief. Claimant’s motion was filed with the Commission on June 19, 2006, five days after the case was submitted to the Full Commission. The Clerk of the Commission considered claimant’s supplemental brief as a Motion to Supplement the Record and properly acknowledged receipt of the motion, requested respondents’ response to said motion, and advised that the motion would be placed on the Full Commission’s Motion Docket of July 5, 2006, via correspondence dated June 20, 2006. In the interim, the Full Commission conducted our de novo
review of the case and issued our decision on June 21, 2006. Regardless of the improper characterization of the motion as one to supplement the record rather than a motion to file a supplemental brief, the clerk followed the proper notice procedure prior to placing the motion on our docket. As our opinion has already been rendered, we find that the claimant’s motion is moot.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
